I would recommend the new EPSON Stylus CX5200 List is $199, street as low as $166. There is a similar older model, the CX3200. It is cheaper (list $149). The major advantage of the newer one is better, longer lasting ink. It is also faster. This is a USB machine which means Windows 98SE or better is required.

If this happens to you, contact Epson about it. At least in recent past, they were replacing these cartridges.
